Meet the Team

Chelsie – Registered Dental Hygienist

Hey everyone! I am Chelsie! I grew up on a ranch outside of Froid in the Northeast corner of Montana. After graduating with my Bachelors of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Sheridan College in 2014, I moved back home and worked at a dental clinic in town. I made the move to Billings in 2017, and have found my new dental home at GADC!

What I love most about my career are the connections that I get to make with people each and every day. There are so many changes happening in the medical field, and I am excited to have the opportunity to work with the advanced technology that we have at our office!

When I’m not at work, I enjoy being around family and friends while going camping, fishing, traveling, riding horse, and watching sports (mostly the Vikings).

“We shall never know all the good that a simple smile can do!”

Debbie – Insurance Coordinator

Hi, I’m Debbie! I joined this practice in 2001. I am proud to be part of this professional and caring team. I am skilled in financial arrangements, insurance benefits and happy to schedule your appointments. Outside the office my husband and I love to camp, fish and travel in our RV. We have been married for 38 years and have 8 grandchildren.

Janine – Hygiene Coordinator

Hi, I’m Janine. I began working in the dental field during my senior year of high school. I participated in the dental work program provided by my school, and I had the opportunity to work part time for a pediatric dentist. My responsibilities included teaching oral hygiene instructions to children and sterilizing instruments. After high school I went to a Dental Assisting program and got my certification. I’ve been fortunate to hold other positions in the dental field, such a working in the front office and a Hygiene Coordinator.

Ever since I was a child, I have loved going to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned. However, I was embarrassed by my smile because my teeth were crowded and crooked. Luckily for me being in dentistry, one of my previous dentists I assisted for helped me straighten my teeth with braces. That is why I stayed in dentistry, so I could give back to others that may feel the same way. I have 30 years of experience, mostly in pediatric dentistry. Now I have the opportunity to learn and further my career in general dentistry here at GADC.

Melinda – Certified Dental Assistant

Hi, I’m Melinda! I joined Grand Avenue Dental Care in August 2019 as a Certified Dental Assistant. I have worked with Dr. Ross at a previous dental office and I’m very excited to be a part of his GADC team! I like working with Dr. Ross because he is an amazing dentist who I work well with. Dr. Ross exudes honesty, integrity, and has true compassion for each and every patient in our office.

I decided to go into dentistry because I thought it would be an interesting career. In the beginning, I was thinking of getting a degree in Dental Hygiene, however I went into Dental Assisting and I love it! I graduated in 1995 from the Dental Assisting Program at Sheridan College. I am currently CDA and CPR certified. Dentistry is a great field because it continues to have advances in technology; I enjoy learning about my career by doing continuing education credits so I can help our patients succeed the most in their personal oral hygiene habits.

In my spare time, I love to run. I have participated in several 5K’s, and I hope to participate in my first 10K in the near future! I also love to read and I am a Netflix junkie. I have two dogs, Molly and Luna who keep me on my toes. I am an avid volunteer at animal shelters, and I often foster dogs. Also, I am the North Carolina Tar Heels #1 Basketball fan. Go Heels!

Joy – Certified Dental Assistant

Hi, I am Joy. I began my dental career back in 2013, and I am currently a Certified Dental Assistant. I love my job, and continue to progress and learn by improving my skills so I can give the best care to our patients. I am married to my Husband Nate, and we have 3 daughters. In my free time I love being able to read, watch movies with my girls, and when the weather is nice we love to go camping as a family.

Estela – Front Office, Dental Assistant

Hola, I’m Estela! I have been a Dental Assistant since 1990. I joined Grand Avenue Dental Care in 2019 after working with Dr. Ross at a previous office since 2012. I enjoy working with Dr. Ross because he is caring, kind, humble and the artistic vision that he brings to dentistry is inspiring. I am currently a Certified Dental Laboratory Technician. I decided to go into dentistry because of all the potential opportunities and the attentative care that is provided to the patient. I love my job because I enjoy seeing the changes in patients’ self-esteem through their smiles.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am a native of Arizona who is bilingual in English and Spanish. I love to read, fish, hunt, doing crafting projects and fixing items around the house.

Lisa – Office Manager

Hi I’m Lisa, I have the best job ever!  Over the past 23 years I’ve had the opportunity to participate in changing lives one smile at a time.   I have the honor of helping people achieve the smile they have always wanted. I have experienced how a healthy smile can change a life.  I have gotten to partner with my dental family to form an environment to create a smile that can change a person’s confidence, make a picture perfect moment,  light up a room, warm a heart, or cause a complete stranger to smile back.

I am blessed to be married to the man of me dreams. He is my knight in shining armor, my best friend, my powdered sugar.  Shane and I have been on this great adventure for 23 years, we have 4 amazing daughters and six incredible grand kids (4 boys and 2 girls).  Being a grandparent is indescribable! It gives me great joy spending time with family and friends. I enjoy working out, camping, hiking, skiing, sledding, playing cards, board games, stamping and scrap booking.  When I’m not doing those other things you can find me hanging out with Junior High kids doing something called Wyldlife.
