The following is intended to provide you with information and resources about various questions related to you and your family's oral health care. If you can not find the answer to your question here please contact us.
OFFICE HOURS

Monday through Friday 7:00a.m.– 4:00p.m. Our office is closed occasionally when the doctor & staff are attending continuing education programs to increase our skills and knowledge of the latest developments in dentistry in order to serve you better.

APPOINTMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS

Patients are seen by appointment only. If an emergency arises, please call our office immediately. Our phone is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we will do our best to promptly respond. We also understand that unforeseen situations may occur. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please give us as much notice as possible. We prefer 2 business days, notice for any appointment changes so that your previously reserved time can be made available to another patient. Patients who consistently miss appointments without notice will not be rescheduled.

Every effort is made to stay on schedule, but sometimes, unexpected emergencies arise. We realize your time is also valuable so we will notify you as soon as possible if a delay should occur. We ask for your understanding and want you to know we provide emergency service to all our patients.

We also appreciate your consideration in being on time for your appointments so that we may stay on schedule for all our patients.

RECARE VISITS

We will schedule recare visits at the time of your appointment whether it is dental cleaning & exams or periodontal treatment. The time between appointments will vary depending on your individual care requirements. We will send a reminder postcard 2-3 weeks prior to your appointment. If you realize at that time that there is a conflict with your reserved time and your schedule, please call immediately to change your appointment.

We hope you share in our belief that regular preventive dental health care is a sound investment.

FINANCIAL POLICY

After examination and diagnosis a complete description of the needed treatment and a written estimate will be provided to you. We will work with you to arrange a treatment plan that fits your timetable and budget.

We make every effort to keep down the cost of your dental care. Our policy is to request payment at the time of your dental treatment. We try to avoid sending statements because the cost of paperwork, postage and manpower affects our fees. We will help you arrange for payment, as several methods are available.

INSURANCE

As a convenience to our patients with dental insurance, our office will submit your insurance at no extra cost. We ask that you provide us with your dental information and keep us informed of any changes in your insurance.

Please understand that your insurance is a contract between you and the insurance company. No insurance company covers all dental costs. Some pay fixed allowances for certain procedures and others pay a percentage of the charge. Sometimes you have basic coverage or comprehensive coverage depending on what your employer and you have chosen.

It usually takes 3-6 weeks for benefits to be paid. If after 60 days the insurance company has not paid, we ask the patient to pay the balance of their account. We will continue to seek settlement from your insurance company for a reasonable period of time. It may be necessary for the patient to contact their insurance company to expedite payment.

PATIENT REFERRALS

Our practice has grown thanks to our patient referrals. We regard it as a vote of confidence when one of our patients refers a friend, co-worker, or family member to our office. We welcome and accept new patients and appreciate these referrals.
